[#47] Configure Emerit devices directly from Cuebly

This release delivers a significant update for Emerit devices. You can now configure Emerit devices directly from Cuebly, streamlining the setup process considerably. When you add a new Emerit device, the system automatically configures it with the initial settings required to connect to the Cuebly platform immediately.

  • Automatic configuration of newly added Emerit devices
  • Seamless connection to the Cuebly platform right away
  • Simplified device setup process
  • Migration support available for existing devices through Emerit Services

Please note: This configuration feature only works on newly added devices. If you wish to use this feature for devices already connected to Cuebly, you must first migrate the device within Emerit Services. Please get in touch with us and we can assist you with this process.

You can read a detailed article about this integration here.

Bug fixes

[#8] Bugfix: asterisk as last character in wifi access point MAC address not possible in import

We’ve resolved an issue affecting wifi access point imports for indoor positioning. To use wifi access points as beacons for indoor positioning, you can set the last character as an asterisk, which excludes that character from identification. This feature proves particularly helpful when working with access points that have multiple (v)MAC addresses. However, a validation bug previously prevented the import of multiple beacons when using an asterisk. This issue has now been resolved, and you can import wifi access points with asterisks without any problems.
