Vendor-Independent Device Management for TWIG, Emerit & Multi-Vendor Safety Devices
Cuebly’s vendor-independent device management platform enables system integrators to provision, configure, and monitor safety devices from multiple manufacturers through a unified interface. Like TWIG, Emerit, Teltonika, Eview and others. No vendor lock-in, no separate management consoles per brand.
Deploy devices over-the-air (OTA) without physical access. Change configurations and troubleshoot remotely. Whether managing 50 TWIG TUP93EU devices for one customer or 500 mixed Emerit and Teltonika trackers across multiple deployments, Cuebly centralises device lifecycle management.
Built for system integrators serving diverse customers with varying hardware requirements. Scale efficiently from pilot projects to enterprise fleets while maintaining complete control over device configurations, updates, and health monitoring.
Why Vendor-Independent Device Management Matters
Most device management platforms lock you into a single hardware vendor. TWIG Point manages only TWIG devices. Emerit’s platform supports only Emerit products. When you need to deploy different hardware for different customers or use cases, you’re forced to manage multiple separate consoles.
This fragmentation creates operational complexity. Your team must learn different interfaces, manage separate credentials, and switch between platforms to oversee your entire device fleet. When a customer asks about device status or you need to troubleshoot connectivity, you waste time navigating multiple systems.
Hardware Flexibility
Vendor-independent device management gives you hardware choice. Deploy TWIG TUP93EU devices for customers requiring long battery life and compact form factors. Use Emerit e-WG200 trackers when indoor positioning and BLE beacon integration are priorities. Select Teltonika GPS units for asset tracking use cases. Choose optimal hardware per customer requirement without platform constraints.
Different customers have different budgets. Premium enterprise clients might demand top-tier devices with advanced features. Cost-conscious customers prefer basic, reliable hardware. Multi-vendor support lets you serve both segments without managing separate platforms.
Operational Efficiency
Centralised device management means one interface for your entire team. Technicians provision devices using consistent workflows regardless of brand. Support staff troubleshoot connectivity issues from a single console. Administrators apply updates across mixed fleets with bulk operations.
When training new employees, they learn one platform. Not three or four vendor-specific tools. Documentation is unified. Workflows are standardised. Your team becomes more efficient as device counts grow.
Future-Proofing
Hardware vendors evolve. New manufacturers enter the market with innovative devices. Existing vendors may discontinue products or change business models. Vendor-independent architecture protects your business from disruption. Adding support for new device types doesn’t require migrating to a different platform or rebuilding integrations.
System integrators choose vendor-independent platforms to maintain flexibility, reduce operational complexity, and future-proof their infrastructure investments.
Complete Device Lifecycle Management
From initial provisioning to end-of-life decommissioning. Cuebly manages every stage of device lifecycle for multi-vendor fleets.
Over-the-Air (OTA) Provisioning
Deploy devices without physical access. When a TWIG TUP93EU or Emerit e-RG360 device powers on with a Cuebly-managed SIM card, it automatically registers to the platform, downloads its configuration, and becomes operational. No technician visit required.
For devices using customer-provided SIM cards, send configuration parameters via SMS or IP. The device receives settings, applies them, reboots, and connects. Remote provisioning eliminates shipping delays and reduces deployment costs. Devices arrive at customer sites ready for immediate activation.
Bulk provisioning supports large deployments. Import device lists via CSV, assign them to customer environments, and push configurations simultaneously. Deploy 100 devices across 10 customers in the time it takes to configure one device manually.
Firmware Management
Keep device firmware current across mixed hardware fleets. Cuebly tracks firmware versions per device and notifies you when updates are available from manufacturers (TWIG, Emerit, Teltonika) or when there are known bugs.
Firmware management prevents security vulnerabilities and ensures devices benefit from manufacturer improvements. Devices running outdated firmware can be flagged for mandatory updates.
Configuration Templates
Standardise device configurations with reusable templates. Create a “Logistics Delivery Driver” template with specific alarm protocols, man down settings and check-in intervals. Apply it to all TWIG devices deployed for delivery service customers.
Templates reduce configuration errors and speed deployment. New devices inherit proven settings rather than being configured from scratch. When you refine a configuration based on operational experience, update the template and apply changes to existing devices in bulk.
Per-customer templates support diverse use cases. Healthcare customers might use “Hospital Nurse” templates with indoor positioning enabled. Security companies deploy “Patrol Guard” scenario templates with team coordination features. Each customer’s devices follow consistent configurations matching their operational requirements.
Bulk Operations
Manage devices at scale with bulk actions. Select multiple devices and execute operations simultaneously:
– Transfer devices between customer environments (reallocating hardware)
– Apply configuration changes (update check-in intervals, alarm settings)
– Change device names (standardise naming conventions)
– Archive or delete devices (end-of-life management)
Bulk operations save time when managing hundreds or thousands of devices. Changes that would take hours or days manually complete in minutes. Consistent configurations across device groups reduce support complexity.
Health Monitoring & Diagnostics
Monitor device health in real-time. Cuebly tracks connectivity status (online, offline, last seen), battery levels and firmware versions for all devices across customer environments.
Set up automated alerts for critical conditions:
– Device offline >24 hours (potential battery failure or damage)
– Battery level <20% (requires charging)
– Firmware version outdated (security or feature update needed)
– Configuration error (device has inconsistent configuration)
Diagnostic tools enable remote troubleshooting. Request GPS location updates, check SIM card status, view connection logs and raw device communication logs, or trigger device reboots without physical access. Most connectivity issues can be resolved remotely, reducing truck rolls and support costs.
See at a glance which devices need attention, which customers have the most issues, and which device models exhibit the most problems. Use this data to improve deployment practices and hardware selection.

How Over-the-Air Provisioning Works
Over-the-air (OTA) provisioning eliminates the need for physical device configuration. Understanding the process helps system integrators deploy devices efficiently.
Timeline: 2-5 minutes from power-on to operational status depending on device reboot time.
OTA provisioning supports remote deployment to customer sites, international shipments, and rapid scaling. Devices can be shipped directly to end users without pre-configuration by integrators.

How Device Management Works
Step 1
add devices
Add devices to the platform by entering IMEI numbers and selecting device types (TWIG ONE, EON, NEO, EASY, etc.). Assign devices to customer environments. For Cuebly-managed SIM cards, also enter ICCID numbers. Bulk import supports CSV files with hundreds of devices.
Timeline: Individual devices add in <1 minute. Bulk imports process in 5-10 minutes.
Step 2
configure & provision
Apply configuration templates or customise device settings. Define check-in intervals, geofences, alarm protocols, and server connections. Trigger OTA provisioning to send configurations to devices. Devices receive settings, apply them, reboot, and connect to the platform.
Timeline: Configuration takes 2-5 minutes depending on complexity. OTA provisioning completes in 2-15 minutes depending on device type and reboot time.
Step 3
Monitor & manage
Track device information from centralised reports. Monitor connectivity status, battery levels, and firmware versions. Receive alerts for offline devices or low batteries. Adjust configurations or troubleshoot connectivity issues remotely. Transfer devices between customers when needed.
Ongoing: Real-time monitoring with automated alerts for critical conditions.
